Welcome to Timeless Shimano Creations, and Shimano Reel Repair, where the past catches the present. Rejuvenating/restoring early Bantams and other reels has been a lifelong passion. Building Custom Bantams brings a whole new life to these little gems. They're perfect for West Coast fishing from trout to steelhead to salmon and about every species in between. Today's cookie cutter reels are made from some exotic materials but will they stand the test of time, yes and no. Long and short of it is that more plastic parts are being used today as compared to earlier bantams where only one or two parts were plastic. That' s why they're still going strong today and probably for decades to come!
New reels are added weekly. An excellent reel selection for novice to expert.
A lot of time, care, patience and expense goes into each and every one. Only hand selected parts are used from my stock. I understand that my reels may not be for everybody, but if you're looking for the best, you've come to the right place for your Rod and Reel and needs.
